A GrabFood rider has gone viral after sharing her side of a delivery dispute on Threads, alleging she was verbally abused despite following Grab's procedures when a customer's unit number did not appear on her app.
In a three-part post, the rider said she called the customer multiple times, sent messages through GrabChat and waited more than five minutes before reporting the issue to Grab.
She also shared a photo of her delivery app, which appeared to show only a road location instead of a complete address.

The posts have since sparked widespread discussion online, with many netizens expressing support for the rider.
Several argued that customers expecting a delivery should remain contactable, or at least inform riders beforehand if they would be unavailable.
Others said the rider appeared to have followed Grab's SOP by calling, messaging and waiting before reporting the issue, while criticising what they described as the customer's attitude towards delivery workers.
Some also suggested the incident may have been caused by an address or pin-location error on the app and urged Grab to investigate further.
