Syed Saddiq Invites Ong Ye Kung to Wedding, Singaporeans Volunteer to Be Minister's Plus-One

Malaysian MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has personally invited Singapore Health Minister Ong Ye Kung to his upcoming wedding to singer and actress Bella Astillah.

Mr Ong later responded to the post, congratulating Syed Saddiq once again.

Syed Saddiq and Bella are scheduled to marry on Oct 10 at Level 118 of Menara Merdeka Maybank in Kuala Lumpur.

The solemnisation will reportedly be the first wedding held on that floor of the skyscraper.

The ceremony will feature an all-white theme with Arab and Islamic elements, chosen at the request of their families. Wedding receptions are also planned in Kuala Lumpur, Muar and Sabah during the same month.

The couple became engaged on March 28 after Syed Saddiq proposed to Bella on Mount Kinabalu.

Their engagement ceremony was attended by family members and close friends and livestreamed on Astro's social media platforms.
