Teenagers Seen Entering Lift Under Maintenance, Accessing HDB Rooftop in Viral Video

A viral video has sparked concern after two teenagers were seen entering a lift that appeared to be under maintenance before making their way onto the rooftop of a residential block.

The clip, shared by SGFollowsAll after being submitted by a follower, shows one of the boys climbing through a narrow opening into the exposed lift shaft while the other records.

At one point, the lift appears to move upwards while the teenager is still inside the shaft, before he exits safely. The video later shows the pair on the rooftop, where construction materials and safety netting can be seen.

A commenter also alleged that the pair were the same boys involved in the widely reported MRT rear cabin trespassing case earlier this year.

However, there has been no official confirmation linking the two incidents, and the claim remains unverified.

The earlier MRT incident involved two boys, aged 11 and 12, who entered a restricted rear cabin on an SMRT train after forcing open an access door. They were later issued conditional warnings following police investigations
