TMJ's 'Hollywood' Remark About Syed Saddiq Sparks Online Debate, Draws Defence From Netizens

Johor Regent Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, better known as TMJ, has sparked discussion online after referring to Muar MP Syed Saddiq as the "most Hollywood" politician during a recent public appearance.

In a video that has since circulated widely on social media, TMJ said, "There are many Hollywood people around, but the most Hollywood of them all is the one in Muar," in an apparent reference to Syed Saddiq, the Member of Parliament for Muar.

Others noted that, as an opposition MP with limited access to federal allocations, Syed Saddiq has relied on alternative methods to secure assistance for constituents, making the "Hollywood" label an unfair characterisation of his work.

The latest episode adds to a long-running public feud between TMJ and Syed Saddiq.
