CCTV Captures Pilgrims Fleeing Deadly Riyadh Airport Strike

CCTV footage released after the October 10 attack on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport shows pilgrims fleeing a boarding area as a sudden explosion fills the terminal with smoke and falling debris.
The footage, broadcast by Saudi state television and Al Arabiya, has been widely shared on social media.
Travellers were gathered at a boarding gate when a bright orange flash erupted, sending people running as sections of the ceiling appeared to collapse.
Al Arabiya identified those waiting as Umrah pilgrims preparing to board their flights.
Reuters verified the boarding-gate footage's location by matching the terminal's infrastructure and furniture with archive material and satellite imagery of Terminal 3.
Saturday's strike killed 13 people and injured more than 300, some critically.
The death toll rose from 12 after an Indian national died from injuries sustained in the attack.
Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi group claimed responsibility, and the airport remained closed on Sunday.
A separate attack on October 11 struck Terminal 4, causing a fire and killing one person while injuring 11, according to Saudi authorities.
The successive strikes have disrupted air travel as Saudi Arabia continues its military campaign against the Houthis in Yemen.
