Announced on 5 November 2026 by Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs, Zaqy Mohamad, SG for Humanity brings together the Government and four humanitarian organisations to coordinate relief efforts and strengthen overseas partnerships.

Zaqy personally joined four humanitarian missions for Gaza and saw more could be done.

He said: "The willingness to help is there. We need to create more ways for Singaporeans to act"

The initial partners are Humanity Matters, Mercy Relief, Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation (RLAF) and Singapore Red Cross. Their capabilities include medical assistance, water treatment, food supplies and mobile clinics.

MCCY will facilitate the network and provide a common platform for collaboration. The Government will also help organisations engage overseas authorities, navigate regulatory requirements and understand security conditions to support aid delivery.

Zaqy is expected to visit Egypt to engage regional authorities and humanitarian partners.

The network could welcome more organisations, support causes beyond Gaza and create opportunities for medical professionals to contribute to aid missions.

Singapore has contributed over S$25 million in humanitarian aid for Gaza since October 2023. In 2025, the Government provided S$1 million in seed funding, distributed equally among the four organisations.
