Jamus Lim Hospitalised With Pneumonia, Netizens Wish Him A Speedy Recovery

Workers' Party MP Jamus Lim has been hospitalised with pneumonia after contracting Influenza A, he said in a Facebook post on 12 Oct 2026.
The Sengkang GRC MP said his symptoms began with a persistent runny nose, which was noticeable when he spoke in Parliament on 6 Oct.
His condition worsened over the weekend, when his blood oxygen level fell to the low 90s, prompting him to seek hospital treatment.
Assoc Prof Lim said he would be unable to attend his usual constituency activities, including his Meet-the-People Session on 12 Oct, house visits and estate walks. However, his volunteers will continue to run the session as scheduled.
He added that he would do what he could to attend to residents' appeal letters and emails while recovering in hospital.
