MIJ, School For Students With Special Needs, Overhauls Logo As It Approaches 10 Year Anniversary
MIJ recently went through a rebranding and they are now known as MIJ Hub, a one stop centre for the special needs community. They aim to be the centre for the life journey of the special needs community.
Here’s an exclusive behind the scenes of how the products MIJ sells under Inspo are created and packed.
The hub incorporates education enrichment, early intervention, daycare, training and consultancy and train and place programs under one roof to provide quality care for the special needs community.
Speaking with Nasrul, the business development head of MIJ, he explains the need for the rebranding and what they hope to achieve moving forward.
“We realized that the logos of the different entities weren’t cohesive and this caused confusion when people patron the various brands under us. The rebranding and restructuring as we approach our 10th year anniversary is to realign ourselves as we hope to get a charity status because it is difficult for us to self-sustain with the beneficiaries under us.”
“We want to establish ourselves as an ecosystem for education, employment and eventually a home for special needs people who don’t have caregivers.”
Our reporter managed to get an exclusive interview with Amrin Amin, former MP, who will be part of this wonderful initiative.
So what inspired you or rather moved you to get involved with MIJ?
Amrin Amin: I was actually inspired by an episode of OKLETSGO podcast. The karya was so moving in so many ways and it spurred me to do more. MIJ is really doing wonderful things for the special needs community and they deserve our support, especially the caregivers. We can do a lot more to empower them, giving them resources, endorsement and the recognition they truly deserve. This is what prompts me to help them the best way I can.
Truly, they do deserve our support. To find out more, log on to https://mijhub.com/
