Singapore Brothers Give Back With Free Home Repairs

Two Singapore brothers behind K2 Handymen are offering free home repairs to households struggling to afford essential improvements, funding up to $1,500 per home.
Muhamad Khairul Anwar Mohd Rosli, 40, and his younger brother Muhammad Redha Jamali, 23, started the initiative after seeing poor living conditions while carrying out maintenance jobs.
Their appeal on TikTok in August attracted about 30 nominations within a month.
The brothers plan to help one or two households each month, setting aside time alongside their regular business operations.
They said the initiative allows them to share their earnings and help others regardless of race or religion.
According to K2 Handymen's announcement, the assistance is intended for individuals and families whose financial or personal circumstances have made necessary home repairs difficult to manage.
Depending on each home's needs, works may include kitchen improvements, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical repairs, lighting, painting and replacement of essential fittings.
The company will initially fully sponsor the materials and labour for approved works.
Selection and the scope of repairs will depend on household circumstances, site assessments and available resources, with nominations handled discreetly.
