Two Singaporean livestreamers have faced further backlash after posting a sarcastic apology in response to criticism over an earlier livestream in which they directed vulgarities at customers.
Winnie Heng and Vadalene Eng appeared to apologise in videos posted on their joint TikTok account, with Heng appearing to cry before revealing that the apology was not genuine.

The video came after the pair were criticised for an earlier livestream in which they allegedly hurled vulgarities at customers who cancelled orders for sought-after crystals.
Clips from the livestream, including one in which Heng said, "I curse you from the bottom of my heart," and appeared to pretend to transfer her "suay-ness" Hokkien for bad luck - to a customer, were subsequently circulated online.
After the pair came under fire online, Eng sought to explain their actions in an IG Story, saying they had spent two months preparing for the livestream sale and went ahead with it despite being unwell.
According to Eng, some of the customers they called out had purchased six to seven items during the sale before attempting to cancel four or five of their orders after it ended.
She claimed that thousands of viewers tuned in to the livestream. "Is that really fair to everyone who waited?" Eng asked.

TikTok Shop's customer support guidance lists order cancellations as one of the issues covered by its support services.
The platform also provides order management and post-sale support, with its consumer protection measures covering cancellations, returns and refunds.
As for TikTok Shop's seller terms, they include a Code of Conduct, with violations potentially resulting in enforcement actions such as the removal of product listings or restrictions or suspension of access to TikTok Shop.
