Minister in Prime Minister's Office, Maliki Osman, witnessed the handover of over $2 million in public donations by Singaporeans for Gaza in Cairo on Saturday. This includes contributions from the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation (RLAF) and the Singapore Red Cross (SRC).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) mentioned that the tranche of humanitarian goods from SRC includes medical supplies, food provisions, drinking water, and hygiene kits that civilians and casualties in Gaza desperately need.

While some were concerned about the aid reaching the civilians on time, most netizens were supportive of the generosity shown by their peers in helping those in need in times of crisis.
