MP Poh Li San flamed by the public for frivolous question

Sembawang GRC MP Poh Li San was flamed by the public when she asked how MCCY could ensure that packet drinks bearing the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew's face did not cause him disrespect.

She suggested that the disposal of the packets in trash bins could be disrespectful. Minister of State Alvin Tan simply responded that the public should dispose of them responsibly.

Some netizens said that the late LKY would not have liked the cult-like glorification some have for him, while others called her out for raising frivolous questions.
