IG user zannemaison criticised a group of cyclists after witnessing several of them riding through multiple red lights on a Sunday morning.
The video shows a group of cyclists running a red light in Pasir Ris before coming to an abrupt stop at the next junction due to a line of pedestrians crossing the road.
In the caption accompanying the video, the user said that "red lights aren't optional" and stressed that traffic rules exist to protect all road users, including motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.
While acknowledging that most cyclists obey the law, the user argued that those who repeatedly ignore traffic signals put both themselves and others at unnecessary risk.
The post also called for stricter enforcement against reckless road users, stating that cyclists should be held to the same standard as motorists when it comes to obeying traffic signals.

Under Singapore's road rules, cyclists are required to obey all traffic signals
when riding on roads, including stopping at red lights, according to the Land Transport Authority (LTA)
